"IF IT WORKS, TAKE IT APART."

My name is Parker Stevens, and I am an ambitious entrepreneur with a passionate focus on all things technical. To put it simply, I fix computers. Since childhood I have always been fascinated with how things work and how to make them work betterWe so often overlook the high degree of complexity under-the-hood, forgetting the many hours which someone painstakingly put into designing our favorite devices!

This fascination with unraveling the elegant mysteries beneath the latest and greatest gadgets has led me to reverse engineer anything I can get my hands on.  Starting with the family's broken VCR, all the way to understanding the mechanics of my first car. I never stopped tinkering, and because of this I have maintained a clear goal in my career. That old VCR still works, too!

When I was 13 I had the opportunity to take apart an old dead computer. After hours of investigating the incredible guts filled with circuit boards and wires, and plenty of Googling to learn what was what, I put it back together and miraculously...the computer turned on! What had I done? I had not one clue. Since then, I have made it my goal to learn as much as I can about everything related to technology.

At 15 years old, I opened up shop with my first technical consulting business, Parkersoft Computers, and by "shop" I do indeed mean my bedroom. I passed out hundreds of fliers each weekend for months and excitedly handed out business cards to build my client base. After 7 years of business, projects ranging from huge Bitcoin Mining Machines to Home Network overhauls, I am even more excited to embark on a mission I call, prkr.io. Pronounce it either way you wish, it's the name I hope you will remember when your computer takes a dump or your internet suddenly cuts out.
